This collaboration between Latham Pottery and Lufkin Pottery will be up for auction at the Celebration of Seagrove Potters' Gala Friday night.
The Celebration of Seagrove Potters is this upcoming weekend! Beginning Friday evening on the 19th the Gala opens up this famous pottery weekend at 6:00pm. Music, food, conversations with pottery lovers, and the collaborative auction all make for this evening to be loads of fun. You can sign up to win two tickets to the Friday night gala at the Celebration of Seagrove Potters website. The 35$ tickets are good for the whole weekend.
That “Center of NC Pottery” thing is more about a geographical description. We know there is pottery going on all over North Carolina, but it sounds good saying it. We definitely hear more from the potters in the Seagrove area.
