The festival explodes with the hopes and dreams of this community - from a chamber of commerce which works passionately to ensure its viability to children laughing and adults devouring homemade ice cream and barbecue. It's wonderful. The benefits of the festival are evident throughout the year. Local civic groups and organizations use the festival as a fund-raiser and in turn, invest their earnings back into the community through special projects.
